Tangerine Balsamic Glazed Ham

Excellent recipe for Easter dinner or as a sugar shack meal 🍁
Glazed ham
4-6 servings
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Tuscan herb olive oil
- 1/4 cup tangerine balsamic
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 bone-in ham cut into spirals, 8 to 10 lb.
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- Tangerines, basil, rosemary and sprigs of thyme for garnish

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup Tuscan herb olive oil
- 1/4 cup tangerine balsamic
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tbsp. Dijon mustard
- 1 bone-in ham cut into spirals, 8 to 10 lb.
- 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
- Tangerines, basil, rosemary and sprigs of thyme for garnish
Preparation
- Remove the ham from the refrigerator and let it sit at room temperature for 1 hour before roasting.
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and add a rack to elevate the ham from the tray.
- Combine olive oil, balsamic, brown sugar, honey and Dijon mustard in a saucepan and whisk to combine.
- Slowly bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, whisking frequently, and simmer for 1 to 2 minutes or until the sugar has dissolved. To book.
- Place the ham on the grill and pour the broth into the bottom of the plate.
- Brush the ham with about 1/2 cup of the mixture, cover with foil and place in the oven. Cook for 1 hour.
- Remove the roasting pan from the oven, remove the foil and baste with the cooking juices.
- Brush the ham with another 1/2 cup of the mixture and increase the oven temperature to 425°F.
- Return the ham to the oven and continue cooking for 30 minutes, but basting with the mixture every 10 minutes.
- Keep an eye on the ham, if left unattended the glaze could burn.
- Remove the ham from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before serving.
- Garnish with tangerines and fresh herbs.
